The Caruthers Blue Raiders have advanced to the semifinal section of the West Sierra League Playoffs. They will face a formidable undefeated Fowler team, at Fowler, for a rematch of about two weeks ago. Those who attended the Caruthers trip would know that it didn't turn out too well, but the Raiders are coming of a positive victory last week to advance. With seven minutes left in the fourth quarter, Caruthers scored two touchdowns, with the go-ahead score at the 1:03 mark, to beat the lower seeded Liberty Madera-Ranchos. Send your positive thoughts Friday night to Fowler, CA, where the Blue Raiders will need your support. This time we're doing it for Jason!
